Leonard Nimoy 5x7 photo (1970s?) with what appears to be a hand-signed autograph in blue ballpoint pen (there's a pen impression on the back of the paper). There appears to be odd spacing between letters and a uniformity of pressure that make it look a little unnatural. Perhaps that odd appearance reflects the difficulty of writing with a ballpoint pen on a glossy print.

Opinions?

Thanks!

As soon as I saw "5"x7"" I knew -which it was - that is his facsimile in use since 1968 until ST:2 at least.

Thank you! I suspected as much but couldn't find any examples online. When I add "5x7" to my search, now I see a couple examples of the facsimile. I've updated my auction accordingly.

Here is another. Click for full image:

I have more than one in person.  And have seen many others.  I will add the one I have. All others on this piece are in person as well,  FWIW.    But those do not look like a typical Nimoy IMHO. I hesitate to cast any authoritative opinion, but have at least a couple other known good ones.  Leonard's is next to his head.

Which "those"? Mine was signed in 1968.

They all appear different. None resemble the in person.  You did say "Facsimile" ?

Yes, those are stamps in the OP and the Fan Club photo I showed. My 5x7 is authentic vintage as noted in the image. Here is a larger scan:

And here is another vintage signed in character for the on set nurse:

And here is vintage Kirk:

The OP and the Fan Club facsimile are identical - made from the same matrix...

Very nice pieces !  Thanks !

Thank you. I just sold off the rest of the vintage cast photos - I'm keeping the Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

This is my other Shatner SP from his last Star Trek film. Click for full image:
