Won this signed piece of music for pretty cheap on an eBay auction. Just a music fan and there were probably some red flags I ignored. Arrived with a COA from Walls of Fame which I found after the fact is not particularly reliable. Found Roger Epperson was a good name online so I got a quick opinion (and told him of the COA, not sure if that had any influence) and unfortunately he doesn't think it's authentic.

Will probably send this back, but wanted to get a couple more opinions first. What do you guys think? Either way, lesson learned to not be so hasty next time. Thanks.

one last time - anybody?

I was skeptical at 1st but it could be real.. this is a tough one to authenticate since its a pretty simple graph.. i am not familiar with him and would need to research more known in person signatures.. but if you trust PSA, Ive seen one authenticated that has the same angle and same style L in Les.. i havent seen the L in Paul stretched so far away yet. Needs a little more research on my end.. but this isn't one you can just dismiss quickly. I think his signature is the type I would never be comfortable buying on the secondary market. If I didnt get it in person, I might not be able to trust any.. thats just my quick opinion though

Hey I appreciate the reply. This is my first autograph purchase, and I’m not really sure if it’s worth keeping around in perpetual “unsure if it’s real or not” (as I know even big names like Roger could make a mistake) or if I should just send it back (if not for that much money and more for the principle of it). Obviously my choice in the end, but as someone a lot more experienced, what would you do here?
