The letter from the JFK White House supposedly contained an authentically-signed JFK photo. It supposedly was sent to a Mr. Battista, who knew Kennedy personally.

The seller's description:

"BUY IT NOW or make an offer. This Kennedy photo came From an estate ofFrank Battista. Mr Battista was carrier military. He was a member of THE ARMY NAVY C.C. outside DC. While there he played golf with many members of congress including Kenndy. I have included a letter from the White House which came with the photo. I purchased it in the1980s. Signed in Silver. (Note: the misspellings are the seller's)

Seriously, these photos were mass-produced. I don't know if the date on the letter was a mistake at the time by the White House or if this was the seller's purposeful doing. But, whatever. A sniper, not named Oswald, took the life of one of America's greatest presidents on Nov. 22, 1963.
