Hi-Thanks for letting me join. I have these signatures on 2 old $1 notes. My grandfather was friends with several brooklyn dodgers and ny yankees in the 30's and 40's. I thought these might be some players. But, I have not been able to figure out. If anyone has any info or ideas that would be most appreciated.

Thanks

I read the 1935 silver certificate as Fred Reiss. The only period reference I found was one who played for the Sheboygan, WI Indians, a minor league baseball team.

I read the 1928 silver certificate signed in 1933 as Louis Davis. I didn't find a baseball reference, just an artist in England who died in 1941.

I could have the names wrong of course. Odds are these aren't valuable but maybe someone knows!
