Hello everybody! There is an auction that will end in a few hours where an autograph of Louis XVI on a paper fragment is sold, and it is going high.
In my opinion it is a secretarial one, as I checked on the French Archives and found an original (of course) signature of the King, that is completely different from the one sold in auction.
What do you think about? I read anther topic of two years ago and this signature was identificated as secretarial. Of course I contacted the auction house bu they replied that thwy don't care if an autograph is real or fake as the responsibility is only of the seller. Isn't that fun?
