I've read a few posts about LBJ signatures and it seems like there were many instances where secretaries signed for him. My grandfather worked with him in the NYA and my grandparents were close friends with the Johnson's. We have pictures of them picnicking together and I have quite a few letters from LBJ to my grandfather. I also have Franklin Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt letters as well as a couple from Ladybird, but that's for another post. Many years ago, my grandfather donated most of his collection to the Library of Congress, but I've managed to find a few dispersed in some old paperwork and wonder if they are auto pen, secretary signed, or authentic. Can anyone give me some things to look for specifically? This is a small sampling of what I'm trying to authenticate. Thanks!
