I found this 8x10 of Lynyrd Skynyrd about 25 years ago at a flea market for a dollar. I often would take a look at it and just assumed that it was a real find that I had. But now I don't know. I sometimes think that maybe it is a reprint of their signatures distributed as a promotion of some sort. Anybody have any idea on just what it might be?
Well, I don't know thses signatures, but if that is live ink it should turn an orange or other when in the direct glare of a light. If the black "ink" disappears into the photograph w/o any color change at all - it is probably not live ink (a preprint etc). You can also look for hairline scratches through the "ink", in which case it would be ink, not "ink".
Thank you Tim :)
It must be a preprint then. The glare from the light just washed everything out into a bright white everywhere. That and I ran my fingernail over the signatures a few times and nothing scratched off at all. Thanks for the test but it must had been something that they gave out to everybody back 25 years ago.
Oh, I am sorry - it appears to be a preprint etc.. I just would like to clarify, I meant to look for extant scratches with a glass, NOT to make new ones.
