I'm planning on attending one of their Final Tour shows with Alice Cooper... So the question is, are the Mötley guys accessible and easy to get autograph from on this recent Final trek? Is it easy to get them at hotels, airports, restaurants etc. or do they limit their autograph opportunities for expensive Meet & Greet packages? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Getting a fully signed set is exceptionally difficult these day (and has been so for a long time). Vince is probably the coolest, but often stays in a separete hotel from the rest.
Nikki, Mick and Tommy are hard unless you meet them under exactly right circumstances. They specifically don't like signing at hotels. Tommy doesn't take part in the paid for meet & greets either.
My advice is to wear a Motley Crue shirt and only have one (or maximum of two) items in hand. If you have a concert ticket, keep it on hand and be prepared to answer questions (from Tommy) regarding the setlist and such.
I did manage to get stuff signed by all four during their European tour this summer. I also met them in 2012 and pretty much all the other tours going back to 2005. It was always a hassle getting things signed by these guys.
It used to be simpler getting Nikki during "solo" tours, but that's probably no longer the case. Tommy's done some DJ gigs, but I've never met him on those occasions. Mick, I've heard, often signs at a booth at the NAMM convention.
I've seen nicely signed albums go for $1000+ and I doubt the market will ease off after their "retirement". A signed bass (or signed anything) for 5k though, not gonna happen.
