Hi guys! I've been visiting this great site for the last couple of months and I'm learning a lot about autographs, now I need your expert opinion on an item I have on my collection, I'm not even thinking about selling it, I don't think I would do it but I'm curious about its value, it's a signed Paul McCartney DVD, I got this from a co-worker at the Four Seasons hotel in Mexico City (That's Paul's go to hotel whenever he visits Mexico). She was in charge of the communication between local police and Paul's crew, I saw Paul 2 times while working there but I was not able to ask for an autograph, first of all, it was extrictly forbidden to bother him and secondly, we couldn't get near him as he was ushered from his room to the van and vice versa. My co-worker asked the guy in charge of security if he could get her an autograph, he said it wasn't possible on that day, she had the dvd ready in case the answer was yes, a couple of hours later Paul was on his way out for his concert at downtown's main square in Mexico City and the security guy came over to my co-worker and told her to handle him the dvd, she did and he took it and came back a minute later with this nicely signed dvd, it took me two years to convince my friend to sell this item to me and I won't say how much I paid cause it could have been too little or too much, kind of what brings me here, I've learned that Paul is no longer signing, and when he does he doesn't signed the way he used to sign some years ago, now he signs Paul, I'd like to know how much could this item worth, I know that the fact that it is signed on the dvd case affects its value, I wish it was signed on the cover or the booklet but it's still the item in my collection I consider a treasure, I would like some opinions as to what the actual value could be on this item, I'm attaching some pictures, hope I'm doing this right, I don't get along with computers, I hate them and they hate me. Looking forward to your opinions, also, I've been hearing that golden sharpies tend to fade, is there anything I can do to prevent that from happening, I don't notice any fading and it's been more than five years since it was signed but I would really hate it if the signature disappeared.

it would be worth more if it was on the actual insert not the plastic

my guess is 700 to 1k but other can do better than me.

Thank's John, yeah, too bad it wasn't signed on the insert, any ideas on how to preserve it? It's doing great so far in the way it's stored but I dread the fading that golden sharpies are infamous for, I'm hoping that doesn't apply to every single golden pen in the market.

I agree with John on the pricing range.  Its a really nice example.

Thank you terrier8HOF , it's the most important item in my collection (which is actually not that big but I have most of my fav musicians, mostly 90´s and 2000's
