Maddux, Greg. Does this scribble w/ associated sales code on bottom of product look like a real signature.

Pretty sure I acquired this ball in 99 or 2000 from a closeout at a HY-Vee grocery store in the KC area.  Really, they used to have an U.D.A. showcase in the store with a variety of memorabilia from various sources when they marked them down to get out of business.  What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

It looks fine to me. There are a few variations to his autograph over the years. I have one from '89, when he was with the Cubs. A little different but genuine.

this one looks like it would from the same time frame.  there is a fluidity to this that I just don't see in the card.  just my opinion.

the ball is authentic.  The card......not so sure.

Thanks.  I'm glad something I bought in those pre-operation bullpen days is authentic!

You're welcome. It's always refreshing when somebody post an authentic item. You get sick and tired of looking at forgery sometimes.

Terrier, my '89 Maddux autograph is PSA authenticated.

no worries John.  Its just not a style I am familiar with, and it looks a bit shaky to me.

You made me nervous for a split-second I'd actually take your word over PSA's. Lol.

Maddux is pretty inconsistent with his "scribble" but the ball looks good.

Thanks for responding.
