I had initially thought that Joe, but then it could be one of her lazy signature indicative of the ones found on her book set

Two different eras. And the two signatures are different. I still stand on not genuine.

Michael, chasing an authentic Madonna signature can be frustrating. There are way more fakes than genuine. Some of these fakes are very good and can even fool the best. Hang in there, time and patience in your pursuit will pay off.
