Update: After reading all of these replies and doing as much research as I could on line, I notified the AAFES auction. Today I got a call from John House who runs the auction site. I haven't returned his call yet because I also wrote to the Commander of AAFES and to my local Congressman. This all occurred on Saturday and Sunday and already I have a response.

John,

Excellent work! I was going to write John House today to tell him about the situation. Please send him to the soldier in Afghanistan's photo album and the discussion. We've just done the Mantles, but I think we can prove to him beyond a doubt that he should not be selling those--and if he can't trust the Mantles, he probably shouldn't trust anything he gets from those sources.

I sent House an email a couple of hours ago. Hopefully I'll get a reply. Keep us updated...please.
He won't get it. John has blinders on. This allows him to look ahead at the money. He portrays that he honestly believes these are authentic when he actually knows there not. He knows what he is doing is unethical. He has company staff pose as satisfied customers to challenge complaints or bad reviews. Customer service manager uses the name Mike Williams. I've suspected this awhile. Each time I've asked if they worked there they have never responded. John has a law degree and is under the impression as long as he gets them authenticated somewhere then he isn't doing anything wrong. He states this protects him and he believes small dealers are just targeting him because he thinks he invented a way to offer real autographs at affordable prices. He was directly steered to these authenticator by his suppliers. One being Bill Rodman formerly of B&J Collectibles. He gets thousands from this guy out of NJ and only pays after he gets the authentication done. Number one reason these guys didn't send him to PSA or JSA originally. Good luck with your contact with him. Rick

John,

Did you ever call John House from AAFES/Always at Auction?

We've had two soldiers join today who found out they bought forgeries from AAFES.
