MARIANO RIVERA "THE SANDMAN"...A PURE GENTLEMAN AND LEGEND...PLEASE SHARE YOUR ITEMS/EXPERIENCES

As we all know Mariano Rivera had his last outing in the Bronx on 9/24/13 which was quite a tearful/cheerful moment...I was very fortunate to have been there in person to witness the Sandman's tearful good bye to his teammates and fans alike...But as we all know all good things must come to an end and with that another storied chapter ends in the Bronx with the Sandman's final outing in pinstripes...a moment I will forever hold in my heart as I also cried with his departure as thousands of fans have...but in any event...now that the Sandman is hanging it up his autograph is now going to be going sky high do to the fact that obtaining a TTM for nearly a dollar is now over...and getting him out at the park for free is also over...Please share your items and or stories of the Sandman...your favorite pieces or memories to pay tribute to one of the most storied gloried Yankees to don the PINSTRIPES in the last two decades...

Pic I made last night using a program on my phone...signing my first piece in 1999 at Steiner Sports...

I think I see the GAI sticker on it!  LOL

LOL...sometimes they get it right...90 % of the time its wrong...

Wow CEE GEE!  That's a really cool program.  The photo looks awesome.

I have many signed items from Mo...but this is no question on my top 3 favorite signed items from Mariano Rivera that my good pal Mr.Zipper found for me...items like this are now going to be well over or close to the $300 range since regular fans that are not collectors are now going to be coming out of the wood work to get a piece of the Sandman...

Picked this beauty up for $40

Incredible !!! what a great piece...those days are going to be gone now...been trying to scout a cheap one lately...but now everyone wants a piece...I think the cheapest Rivera I ever got was in the 19 buck range on a card and cheapest ball was I think about 42 bucks...its amazing how many people slept on those pieces...but now that his signing for free days at the park are over...the demand is going to be insane...

Bought this for $40 from a guy who didn't necessarily know prices. He was President of a pretty big television network here in Toronto and had TONS of autographs. Bought a Tiger Woods signed golf ball, Pedro Martinez ball, Alex Rodriguez ball, Ichiro Suzuki ball and this Rivera ball for steals of a deal. Unfortunately he soon started researching prices and began asking retail prices.

Here are my 3:

I have a few TTM pieces I never got back from him, hoping he goes through all his mail 1st year of retirement! LOL

PURE DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH BRO...YEAH....I SENT HIM ONE AS WELL...THAT WOULD BE AN AMAZING TREAT IF HE GOES THROUGH HIS MAIL ONE MORE TIME...

He was always good about signing his mail throughout his career hopefully there is a way for him to keep that going

I was able to get him once TTM from the old Yankee Stadium back in 2001...he was signing up until last year...but never got him ever since...
