I have known Marilyn (Brian Warner) since he was a small local act opening for other bands that I liked.  If I only knew, but I didn't like his music then, and still don't.

If I had asked Brian for his autograph back then, he would have laughed.  This was at his very beginning.  He was opening for small time local acts in South Florida, and I was usually there with the main band, either as a friend or recording the show.  I was not really an autograph seeker back then, but even if I was, at that point, it would not have occurred to me to ask him.
