I would say no to both if them. The 'M' in Merle is not right.

Thank you.  Ive seen so many styles on Ebay, its all so confusing to me.  What are your thoughts on this item, sold thru his website in 1999?  Signed & numbered limited edition? Are you familiar with it?

I would say that this item is ok since it came from his website/fan club. I bought his signed book, My House of Memories, from his fan club at his booth during Fan Fair in Nashville in 2001. His fan club president was running the booth and she told me that he personally signed each item that was for sale at his booth. I have attached a picture of the signature, dated 2001, in the book.

I have also attached a signed album flat that I got in-person from him on 6/17/97 at his booth at Fan fair in Nashville.

If you look at the signatures I have posted and the signed LP's you inquired about, you can see how different his 'M' is in the in-person examples. In his in-person signatures he starts his M's at the beginning with what I call a tail. The signed LP's don't have them. The item you purchased from his website also has the tail. Yours is just more inside the M. Mine are outside of the M.
