His name is Michael Joseph Jackson. Now, of that I am sure. :)

Nope.  Look at your contract. :)

Two passports and a drivers license

He even signed his Motown card as a little kid Michael Joe

He was known as Michael Joe Jackson, just like Tito was known as Toriano (instead of Tariano) for most of his J5 career. His birth name is Michael Joseph Jackson. That's a fact.

Do some more checkin girl :)  You cannot use fake names on Passports.  This is part of an FBI file too:

Michael and his father were not close. So I can see why he would shorten his middle name to Joe. As far as I know Michael didn't legally change his middle name to Joe. That's why you see Joseph on his death certificate. You even cited Tito's son's name as an example in a previous post. Michael's son's name is Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr.

His son's birth certificate which he signed 'Michael Joseph Jackson'.

Yep I have seen all of these before.

There are a bunch of fan sites that go back and forth on all of this stuff a million times --and we could debate this all day.  I'll stick with Michael Joe, and you stick with Michael Joseph.  Sound good? :)  If I find anything super compelling (like Michael's actual birth cert) I'll add it.  I don't think any of the fan sites has ever found one to put online.

His son's name is not debatable. But okay. You stick with Michael Joe. :)

Nor are Passports or D.L.'s - a D.L. requires his birth certificate or legal documentation showing a name change.  Passports require a birth certificate & or legal documentation as well.  The Passport thing to me is big, I mean its to show your legal U S citizenship.  But as I said we could debate this all day - true? The real question of the day should be (ready for this? lol)

What will Blanket call himself when he grows up and doesn't want to be called Blanket?  Prince is taken.  His name is Prince Michael Jackson II  (??  what?  - none of it really makes sense to me on the kids names at all) :)
