This is currently in Auction format on eBay.  It is authenticated by PSA/DNA.  In my opinion, PSA got this wrong.  But notice the PSA LOA date.  It was authenticated less than 5 months after MJ’s passing.  This was a time when PSA was getting a lot of MJ stuff in, and frankly I don’t think they had much of a handle on Michael’s Autograph at that time.  What do you think?

Bidding just concluded.  It sold for $1345.

The Autograph looks fine to me

It looks pretty abbreviated to me.  I’ve never seen one quite like this, but maybe I’m wrong.

Of course it would help if it were dated. IMO the MJs i have seen are usually fuller and more readable than this one. However; $1345 speaks well for it's authenticity

Unfortunately, too many people have too much confidence in that TPA sticker.  They have confidence in the item’s authenticity solely because of the sticker that’s attached.  Some people know better, but even more don’t...unfortunately.

Mine is very similar. Yours looks really good to me!

I think yours has a better chance of being authentic than the one that sold for $1345 above.  I really do.  I just can’t say for sure.

I got thumbs up from Wascher so you are right :)

That’s great, Yannick!  That’s the best approval you can get in my opinion.

Absolutely, thank you!

In my opinion, this Michael Jackson signature is Undetermined. This one is proving to be difficult for me to give an opinion on. Half of me is siding with PSA/DNA, as they are the more professional and experienced examiners. On the other hand, it’s a signature that I wouldn’t want for my own collection even if it were authentic. This signature is a little unusual. Michael at this time (2000’s) would really accentuate his signature style and would sign with extra quickness and flow. Michael would sign larger than ever before. With that being said, I don’t see it with this signature. I could very well be wrong (and I caution you, I am probably wrong). The signature is relatively smaller than the examples I have. The placement is correct, Michael didn’t want the background to hide his signature. Like you mentioned above, this was a time when PSA/DNA was at their highest capacity of Michael Jackson signed memorabilia and a mistake could have been made.
