On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.
Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.
Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.
If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/
Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.
Thanks for your help.

The questions were answered via Bravado already that this was not a prototype, the standee pictured was made after Michael died.
Also want to note on page 30 of the julien bush catalog. Please look at the angle on that J. It looks like it wants to lay down and take a nap.
If you look at the angles comparatively between the J, K and N in Jackson - they are absolutely all over the place.
And look at the IC in Michael and the supposed SO in Jackson. The strokes/form are repetitive and highly similar. And we know Bush makes the same formation in his Michael IC when signing his own name.
Okay, just had to get that out.
Wendy thank you so much for you hard work and dedication, YOU are amazing, love you very much bab <3
Thank you T
people please STOP STOP with these FALE MICHAEL JACKSON autographs signed by probably MICHAEL BUSH…..We all know they are fake.
THANK YOU. someone with some sense. haven't we discussed enough ??
i haven't been on here for days now as it's just going round and round and round.
what are Steve, Michael Frost, Roger planning to do ??????????
THE STANDEE PROVES EVERY AUTOGRAPH IS FAKE.
Of course it does, but the Branca/Bush situtation is messy and we don't know what they mean if they say "correct channels".
So it can't hurt to build the case and look for more examples of Michael's real signature and slip-ups in the catalogue.
I posted about the two hats Juliens sold, just got sent this from Adze on fb, Michael had just one hat,
Steve, Michael and Roger have kept us posted on their doings. I believe they have done and continue to do all they are able. Not everything is publicly stated on this very public forum.
I do understand how badly we all want justice in this matter.
Ongoing communication and discussion is essential. Where would this matter have been without this discussion? The wrongdoers would like nothing more than for us to be quiet. Why give them the cover they so desperately want?
PLEASE keep working toward justice - everyone.
You said it, Wendy: Keep working. These things take time.
A forgery ring in the UK sold hundreds of fake Michael Jacksons to dealers, fans and collectors in the UK and beyond, including the US. I wouldn't be surprised if more than 500 were sold over the last 4 years (they started selling them before MJ died). Maybe lots more. They were really good forgeries.
Members of this site exposed the forgeries and Roger identified the forger in July or August. We first started noticing them early this year, and it became a major forum discussion stated by another member in August.
At first the main dealer organization in the UK didn't believe they were bad, and fought back against us. But it seems they finally saw the light and most of their board resigned over it. It will probably be a month or more their new board votes and issues the official word on them.
So don't be discouraged that things aren't happening fast. Just keep working away at it.
