On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

Updates with Bravado replies now loaded onto Team MJ site here:  ie emails from Bravado confirming what we expected....

http://teammichaeljackson.com/archives/6887

I don't see how the second email proves anything.
There are no answers from Bravado.
The only answer is to Justin's email when Felix states standee was manufactured after Mr. Jackson passed.
What is the point if posting the other email with all the questions unanswered?
That just invites people to think about all those unanswered questions and loopholes for them to latch onto.

Should just post the email from Justin with Bravado confirming it was manufactured after MJ died.

All this "design" stuff is pointing unnecessary things for people to use an an excuse because its too confusing for everyone to understand.

yes there is a one line answer at the top- look again. It says "It was manufactured after Michael passed away".

he says.... the standee PICTURED was manufactured after Michael died.

Thank you for the information.  Began looking through the pages on the UK forgeries and I'll continue to read through the entire discussion.  I have seen that forged signature style on eBay within the past few years.  The work of Adrian, is it?

These are quite good at first glance.  However the bumps on the lower case letters are too exact and unvaried.

It certainly is important to do your research in the field of autograph collecting!

Yes, research and communication. Collectors working together at sites like ours are changing autograph collecting for the better.

Yes, either the work of Adrian Longden or he has them done for him. He claims to have gotten them signed himself.

I see.  The claim was he traveled to L.A. just in the nick of time to get hundreds of Michael autographs.  Hmmmm, yet the forgeries tell a different story.

Very sad.  While those of us were mourning the lose of Michael, many were seeing $$$$$.  And still are :(

where are you guys reading?  I'd love to take a look.  This certainly has gotten my interest :)  btw, missed you on twitter this a.m. lol  I was looking for a partner to retweet this stuff. :)  (that twitter stuff was to wendy)

Here's the link Steve posted on page 120:

I know, I wasn't on Twitter today :)

Why would Michael purchase a jacket and album of ET then sign it over to Bush, pretty lame of Bush to attempt this one, for sure we know the sig is a fake, but what was Bush thinking!!!

Seems to me Bush had a magazine he collected, then found a black shirt to match the one in the mag, who would remember which black shirt Michael wore when? I dont think this is Michaels worn shirt, but something after the fact
