On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

The one I posted was from Michelle, that had questions.

I didn't see Justin's questions in the one you posted, do you have the questions he asked?

I thought you posted Justin's questions. I didn't know that was Michelle's.

Michelle...your email to Felix was perfect. I wish I asked my questions as well.

The email is a bit confusing because of the time zone issues. I emailed him from Los Angeles in the Pacific time zone, but it was just after midnight EST in NY.  So he received my email on 12/4/2012 at 12:11am EST (which was sent 12/3 at 9:11pm PST), but his response to me, which came in about an hour after I emailed him, was opened back in PST around 10:20pm, still 12/3/2012.

Thanks, Michelle. Are you aware of anyone else that was told that the standee was manufactured after MJ died? In writing primarily.

I only know about Justin's response. He probably started to get suspicious after the questions started coming in and stopped responding.

i think Felix was confused because i had sent him an Amazon link directing him to the product.

his fourth response to me was because i had enquired what he/Bravado were planning to do.

I have a ? for the authenticators.  Have you noticed an increase or decrease in auth. MJ signed items lately?  (since I haven't been following signed items).

well, I can tell you I follow E bay closely and all sales and I think prices came down quite a bit. Part of that is normal, people realizing that MJ autographs arent that rare since he was a generous signer. Then the market was so flooded because they stared out so high as usually happens after a death. I think mostly prices have evened out to fair market value now.

hi everyone, just wanted to join and say hi. Some of the MJ fans might recognise the name, yes it is Moonstreet from Ireland, whom some of you may remember from being at Michael's hotel etc. I've been following this first from Twitter from Sandy & Talitha and then on here. I just wanted to say that you are doing good and that while you have faced hostility from many regarding this issue, there are many also who do support you, who know that you speak the truth.

People think that because an item is sold by Julien's  the authenticity can not be questioned, but that's not true. People like Bush think that because they have proven history, their word is taken at face value & that no one can prove otherwise, buts that not true. Julien's & Bush failed to realize the knowledge of fans & how close some were to Michael & that fans will know such detailed information as to be able to question the authenticity of MJs autograph.

Is anyone friends with MLB on Facebook here still?

Justin and I got banned ages ago as soon as we started asking questions - shocking.

I'm so curious if anyone has posted the emails on MLB's wall or if fans are flooding his wall with questions, and how is he responding? If at all ?

someone posted team michael link and asked for an explanation but the Bush fans are attacking it, because "they" did their homework and the information provided on team M's website are false.

He has not responded or removed it, I'm sure he has not seen it yet, or it would have been deleted.

people have now put just the letters up as well.
