On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

Reason is to take Miko and the statement off of the table and to go on to the next excuse used in defense of the Michael Jackson autographs in this auction. Mj fan, I am agreeing with you not fighting you.

Since when is associates/roadies/groupies/handlers signing a sig for an unsuspecting fan an unusual occurrence? Happens all the time, guys.

It does not negate all the authentic, tried and true sigs found on the vast majority of fan items, official documents, etc.

Unless the world at large is wrong and the REAL MJ sigs just surfaced this week. Give me a break.

DB video has been posted here of Michael Jackson signing at Gardener Street school, image of that signature has been posted, letters personally received by fans have been posted, Michael Jackson's official documents with the same matching signature has been posted, imo you are attempting to hijack this discussion, confuse readers with you innuendos!!! What we have posted is Michael Jackson's signatures, SO STOP ALREADY with this Miko nonsense  you obviously have beef with Steve, take that crap some place else!!!!!  This is about a crime that IS being committed by Darren Julien and Michael Bush!! Unless you have something viable to contribute i suggest you stop being Darren Julens mouth piece!!! Miko is NOT relevant to these post, PROVE IS POSTED, READ IT!!!!

My comment is a statement, it is not a question, so does not warrant a response from you!!!! We are through playing, we have now moved on to reporting these crimes,

I'm happy for you and I'm not a mouth piece for anyone, including you.   Don't hurt yourself moving on!

it worked,,,,, ok it works when i reply to myself, these side by side comparison are by "We want a Permanent Museum for Michael Jackson!" https://www.facebook.com/pages/We-want-a-Permanent-Museum-for-Micha... i take no credit for the hard work,

Teammichael777,

which items are you saying were hand signed by Miko Brando? Can you post a few examples of Miko's work or his MJ signature. If you do not feel comfortable posting them here, can you send me an e-mail at specialagent711@aol.com with some scans and if you can some additional information.

Thank you

TeamMichael777,

I'm sorry for the replying problems...hopefully they'll work better now. This site is on a very reliable platform, so it almost never goes down, no matter how much traffic we throw its way. But it has quirks that cause grief every now and then.

Can you provide examples of Miko signings of Michael Jackson's autograph?

No, it's a problem I've reported to the company that hosts our platform.

I have many autographs from Michael given to me in person over fifteen years, most do not resemble these but there ARE some variations. Usually the J in Jackson is a straight line and I have never seen such a flamboyant loop on the end of the N, and they just have an overall strangeness to them that is not familiar.

See the attached though - these are all 100% REAL given to my friends and I over the years.
There are variations...but you can see the "two loop" J in some...which "Michael" uses in the Bush autographs.

I want to believe in MLB...I've met him as we'll and he seems to be a very good intention man who really cares for Michael...this is very confusing and bewildering though because these autographs are quite deviated from the norm.

Sandy this is a great find! I don't know if others have picked up but look at the E for Energy in your pic, it's the same as the backwards 3 brought up in discussion earlier which none of us were familiar with, as an unusal capital E in "YES" on all of bush's sketches/costume designs.

TeanMichael777,

I am sorry you had said " Miko did indeed sit and sign hundreds of photos of Michael for the fans,"

I thought you knew this 1st hand. I will try to get the book and will try to find out a bit more. Have you ever seen any of these signed items? Can you also find where this signinf took place. This can be very important information.

Thank you
