not seen a vintage mick taylor for alot of years, don't know if this is genuine but it sure is very very different from how he signs now, you would expect it to have some similarities but this doesn't seem to have any.. imo
Thank you Matt greatly! I know this is different from his signitures today because it was supposedly signed in the early 1970's.
Thank you Steve greatly, I have questioned the seller thoroughly and he seemed to hold up under my scrutiny. He claims it was singed in the early 1970's.
I think you really need to spend $15 bucks for a quick opinion from Roger Epperson on this one. See below for a signature of Mick Taylor from a John Mayall program from early 1969 that came from Tracks in the UK. Those two xx's under the signature are much more of a secretarial touch than what I've ever seen from Mick Taylor. Glad you have an appreciation for him - he's a great guitarist and I believe that the Stones were never better than when he was in the band.
JJ Thank you so much for your opinion and this photo. Yes, I do see a similarity in the signitures. What about the x's? That could be genuine too!
I agree...The Stones were never as good as when they had Mick Taylor with them.
when mick played with the stones in auckland on the last tour he stood outside the hotel for an hour chatting and signing.pity i was busy at the gig
Wow really. Too bad!
JJ, if it's a secretarial that means someone else sign it correct? Then my question is, these two signatures are very closely identical except for the xx's of course, then how can someone duplicate Mick's handwriting...wouldn't that be difficult?
