From what I can see looks ok, but would like to see the rest of the last name.

if you click on the photo, you can see the entire signature. I think it is good also, but the sharpie bled into the wood, making it difficult to be certain.

Thanks to Steve and terrier8HOF.   I am trying to learn more about forgeries in the autograph arena.   Steve can you tell me the reasons why this Mantle autograph appears legitamate?  Thanks again.  Don

I really don’t like to share specifics because people who forge tend to look at the information given and use it to make their forgeries better.  I will tell you that there are very common distinctive features of Mantle’s signature that are present on this, but there are also a few lesser known that are present here.
