Hi Everyone!

At least 35 plus years ago my always traveling (for work) Grandfather gave me a Mickey Mantle autograph written on the back of his business card. I was just a kid so I didn't know anything about keeping an autograph (can we hear taping it into an autograph book!) but it has sentimental value because my Grandfather took the time to get it for me.

I had someone once tell me they didn't think it real (I had thought of selling it) but I can't believe my Grandfather would have told me it was real only to have it be a secretary -- especially since it's on his business card. Anyways I have no idea, but thought the fine people in this forum could give me your opinions! Also, curious if my mis-keeping of it hurts it's value -- if there even is any! I know it's not the greatest, but have attached a photo from my phone.

Thanks, Robert

Very nice Bobby!!! hehe...On a Sentimental Value its great being that its on a biz Card it really doesnt have to much of a Value maybe some. But its a legit signature in my opinion.

Authentic

absolutely authentic. cool.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I always felt it real, but then doubt entered just a tad when someone told me it might not be so! I'd think the Alan Shepard autograph he got me is real too. Too bad I didn't keep with the autograph collecting as my Grandfather surely crossed paths with many more celebrities in his million plus US miles of air travel through out his lifetime.

ya man thats really cool,Shame it got taped though but not too bad.You should get a photo though and frame and matted it up with it put it in your office or something with a picture of your grandad..Would be a hell of a memento you could look at everytime you walk in.
