Oh, dude, zero hesitation!!

I hated to hear today about this impending retirement business. I see, though, he told Billboard just a couple weeks ago it's just recording and playing solo that he doesn't want to do anymore, and that as soon as some unspecified number of the OG Time members are ready at any point to get rolling again, then we've yet got plenty of killer shows, and potentially even new records, to look forward to down the road.

So hopefully, that's something he will continue to talk about publicly and that sooner or later it will work to step up folks' badgering of those guys till they get it together and make it happen.

I have not been keeping track of them lately. I also read the same thing after I posted my comment. Here's hoping. Its sad to see Prince's estate fighting over the use of their band name..  it will probably work itself out after negotiations but it would be strange if they had to change their name.. if so, id vote for "The Band Formerly Known as Morris Day and the Time" with a symbol honoring Prince.

I have family that has lived around Minneapolis close to his studio. It was impossible to grow up without being a fan.
