We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

The lower signature is from the artist
Ernie Cefalu

Just a heads up, the new Robbie Robertson signed books are being questioned over on RACC.  Of all the autographs I've ever gotten or seen, he always loops his n back to cross his t.  That's not the case on any of these new books and they are presigned even at the signing.

I hope they are legit. It is f'ed up that people promote a signed book only to release autopenned or ghost signed books. It's not right at best and at worst, outright fraud. I have attached the signature in my copy.....anyone else have any opinions?

The better question is has anyone recently gotten him to sign in person.  That's the tell tale sign.  If he's changed his autograph significantly then great but I'm skeptical.

The Weeknd signed "Starboy" bundle. Contains cd, and a 8x10 personally signed $20.

Just as a heads up, he used an autopen on his $200 presale before.

Did that pre-sale state hand signed as it did with this one?

Yes but after he was caught they ended up sending everyone a hand signed one so I'm going to assume they won't try that again but you really never know.  This year's been crazy with even Wayne Gretzky getting in on the autopen/stamped action along with Brian Wilson and others.  Here's an article on it: http://citysound.bohemian.com/2013/03/30/the-weeknd-printed-fake-si...

Thanks for the link. I remember hearing about that when it happened. I doubt he'd try that again, especially all the bad press he got for it, but we'll see.

John Legend and Kenny Burrell added to newbury. Also, Heart preorder back in stock!

Tori Kelly signed "Sing" soundtrack CDs through JB Hi-Fi.
