Musicians Who Sell Their Signatures In Shop.

We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read. 

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

 

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

You guys think a retailer in the US will have these signed Lady A CDs? Has anyone purchased from Sanity before? Reputable? Any issues? Shipping reasonable? What's conversion? Thanks

Sanity's been pretty good, though it's Australia's JB-Hi Fi that tends to get the better preorders. 1 Australian dollar is just under 0.75 US at the moment, so the CDs are more like $16. Just be prepared to wait a while, as shipping from Australia can take 2 - 3 weeks.

Sanity is fine. They usually mimic what jbhifI has. I'm thinking about ordering one as well. Newbury might get it, but they are big enough that it could be a gamble if you really want it.

Didn't want to gambleliek you said and took a shot. Did the 2 signed copies for $40 special they had running. With shipping came out to about $36/$37 for the pair.

Got my Jimmy Page today.Have seen a few others and they are different so no monkey business. A decent way to get an authentic Page. You could always cut em and frame with a nice photo. They were still on sale last time I looked so he must have signed quite a few. Too bad he wouldn't sign his darn book!

Yes too bad about the book, but this is real and will have to suffice.  Personally, I am leaving mine in tact.  I just like to have things the way they were issued,  Now, wouldnt it be great if Plant did a similar offering!!
