We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Rich, can you get a Signed Brian Wilson for me? How much are they? Thanks
Hey, I'm actually in a different city ATM (our b&n is out of town), but I'm guessing it's not going anywhere - they have two copies in fact. I didn't look at the price, but from what I recall from last year they were somewhat higher than average - maybe $40?
That sounds right.

Joe Bonamassa signed vinyl on his website.  I ordered three and sent them back as signatures were rushed and initials only.  Also, the marker he used was essentially deceased.  Very sad......................

Do you have any photos? Did you receive a full refund?

I did not take any photos. But trust me I can't believe any true autograph collector would be satisfied. The images of the signatures on line would have been more than acceptable. What I got was "JB". And was told all of the new batch looked like that. Customer service was very helpful and even emailed me a return label.

Thats the way he signs now a days, just JB but usually big and bold.I bought a signed album from his site a couple years ago,it was nice, took up half the album cover.

I requested a return label for my signed Beacon Theatre vinyl as well. I expect a better signature when I pay $30 for it. Joe typically uses very poor markers when he signs and he signs so fast that the marker typically can't keep up anyway. A few years ago, I was first in line waiting outside the venue for Joe to come out and sign. I had a brand new marker with me that put out a ton of ink. When Joe came out the door, I handed him my CD booklet and mega black marker. He gave me back my marker and used his instead. Needless to say, his marker was crap and the signature was barely visible. Best laid plans....

Below are my both BCC albums signed by him which I also want to return as the sigs are horrible... How did you contact his shop for refund as I haven't received reply from them yet (it's been a week or so)?

I went through customer service on the website. They were very helpful. I told them they would likely be hearing from other unhappy customers as the sigs look nothing like the images in the shop on the signed lps. Also told them they would be wise to replace these images with more current representitve autographs so people would know what they were getting in advance. I likened what was happening to going to McDonald's and seeing this beautiful burger on the menu only to receive a soggy smooshed piece of dog crap

Amos Lee signed pre-order at Newbury Comics.

Has anyone recieved the Dinosaur jr signed poster yet?
