We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Bookplates aren't suppose to be autopen just because it is a bookplate. It normally is like a sticker signed and then placed in book. These however are the same autopen signature as premier had.

I understand both are no good. This was the reason I wasn't rushing out to find another Wilson book from a store. Lets hope you get a real copy ,Adam.

Finally looks like Book Soup is shipping their orders...I am hopeful they got legit signed books.

What annoys me is these companies have your money for 3 to 4 months and don't deliver.

Now this also brings into question those signed Beach Boys posters the band was selling in 2012 when they reunited to tour again and to celebrate the new album.

I bought one of those, and I remember Roger saying it was fine at the time.. not sure if that's changed.

OK good to know because I had heard on that tour someone was signing for him if an item was taken onto the bus.  I feel with Brian, as I do about other performers lately, if you dont witness it, its always in question.   Its just that when you pay for things, there should be no doubts.

I heard it was recent stuff they were selling at shows, not on their website.
It was the 50th anniversary shows. Jeff Foskett forged Brian Wilson's signatures on not all, but a lot of the tour programs and That's Why God Made The Radio cds. You can sort of easily tell the fakes.

And to my knowledge, all the Brian Wilson LPs from Barnes and Noble last year were authentic. I picked up one of those as well.

Yep, those are good. As are the LPs he sold through his store, the cds from looney tunes and the Brian Wilson and friends dvds. I have heard Brian has a new management team, so this could have something to do with that.
O just heard back from the manager of Book Soup.

Hello Adam,

It's looking likely that all orders will be filled. They'll be sent out by the end of the week.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Marion

I am just hoping these are hand signed....
