We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

I also could use one.

I posted on their facebook page that maybe they should have limited to one as it promotes people reselling instead of going directly to true fans. Maybe if others do this they will do something about it. Maybe if others post similar comments they will do something about it. Can't hurt.

Little torn on saying this because I enjoy the RACC fb page just to see the autographs and occasionally buy something but everything posted on this thread gets reposted to their site and when that happens, it's like a feeding frenzy as many of the people on that site are sellers and not really collectors- some do both but many of them buy up as many as they can to resell on ebay. It's a free world of course and I also had posted a few times there when I've found something but have since stopped after realizing what was happening which was screwing the actual collectors. These sold out within 10 minutes of this thread post being relayed on RACC. I get that autographs are the bread and butter for some of those guys but struggle when they buy up rare opportunities for collectors to buy something direct from the artist without the super inflated prices.

I didn't expect them to go quite that fast. I didn't pick up any myself.

Just found this thread. Can't believe looney tunes website had Don Henley signed cd booklets. Been trying for a long time now to get his autograph and never have. Anyone have one they would sell? I hate asking that question
Hi Jake, I have an extra copy but would much rather trade for another musCian autograph than sell it. Let me know if you're interested
Thank you Christopher. I'm not really sure who I have that you would be interested in. If you would consider selling it I would rather do that only because I don't have very many musicians in my collection. Let me know if you want to and your price
I do have a Huey Lewis autograph I got in person a couple years ago. He has a summer home about a mile away from my house and performed a small concert in my hometown a couple years ago. If I remember right it's on a white card stock. I could trade that and still send money too. Trying to get it for my dad's birthday next month. We were lucky to see the Eagles last year in Washington. Been waiting my entire life to see them and took my dad so we could enjoy it together. I know Huey Lewis isn't in the same category as Don Henley. I also have Doug Clifford and Stu Cook that I got after a concert a couple years ago as well. I would add all three of you are interested.
I pm'd u so the other guys won't have to read all this.
