My beatles full set exposed to uv lighting

Here is my authentic beatles signed album page by all 4! Fortunately I was able to get this at a lower price due to ultraviolet light damage. This is an attest to blue ink lasts longer than black. Especially when exposed to uv. I will post an actual scan of the album page when I take it out of the matted frame.

Well thank you! I'll try to get a scan of it soon. Yes it has faded quite a bit. This one was originally sold by Al Whittnebert 15 years ago. I am the 3rd purchaser of the item. What I do like about this one is that even faded at least it has a good paper pressure impression underneath all of the signatures!

Love it! Faded or not, you still have a piece signed by all four of the greatest music group of all-time! That's awesome. I wish I did.

Thanks I totally love this and will cherish it! I was hunting for a beatles set for a while but that $8000.00 price tag was in my way. There was no way my fiancé would let me spend that kinda cash. The seller was nice enough to let me pay payments on this. I paid $2,500 for this which I think was more than fair. It was originally set at $4950. Roger would you give me a rough appraisal on the album page itself? Also it is immaculately framed with 5 vintage photos and the piece is rather large as a framed piece. Thanks

Oh ya, I would have jumped on that. Heck, I've seen a Paul McCartney autograph (non-album) go for as much as $1750 by himself. And a nice Lennon can go for 5k or 6k. I think you commented on my Michael Jackson. I got that REAL MJ signed album for $500, because no one would bite on the opening bid of $500. I thought that was a steal since I've seen photos go for $1500. I have to mention the seller was a class act too. Anyway good job.

That is excellent! I love it when you get a good deal from an honest dealer! It makes the whole experience so much better? That was how this went when I got this. She was in constant communication with me the whole time as I made payments.

That's cool. I'm in the process of making payments to a guy I actually met here on Autograph Magazine for a JFK signed brochure/program from an event held in Kansas in 1960. As it turns out, we both live in the same city in Kansas (cool coincidence), a suburb of Kansas City. He stumbled upon this program at an estate sale near this high school where Kennedy appeared on Oct. 22, 1960. I wasn't born yet, but the HS is just about 4 miles from where I live. The auto was tucked away in a bundle of things. Nobody even knew it was there. So he got it for a few dollars! It's real. It matches up with PSA/DNA sigs. It was JFK's sig style during the campaign. I've got one more payment to make for a total of $1700. And since he and I live in the same town, we meet face-to-face! We're getting to be friends too. And the autograph will stay in town where it should be. It's just amazing that I stumbled upon this guy in this forum. Thumbs up for Autograph Magazine! Also, there was a big write up about JFK's appearance here in the KC STAR last November for the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

Here's the front of the program. Bottom line is, it's nice if someone will trust you enough to make payments. You might then be able to get something you've always dreamed of!

Blue ink, black ink, purple ink; it's not the color that causes ink to fade, it's the amount of pigment in the ink that is being used.  Common ballpoint pens have very diluted ink that is mainly a thinner and that is why they are so cheap.  Pens with an ink cartridge are much more dense with pigment thus not fading as easily as the thinner dries away.  When I used to get baseballs signed with my son we always used Mont Blanc pen because the ink was strong and dense and after 10+ years of sitting on his shelf not one has bled or faded a bit.
