I would appreciate opinions on this Nat King Cole autograph.

Background - it was signed in a program from a 1956 tour he was on with Ted Heath.  Picture and program are in very good shape for their age.  There is also an autograph from Ronne Venell who was part of the Ted Heath Orchestra

I've compared it with several autos associated with PSA/DNA and it seems very close - but a bit 'rushed'.

Thanks Jim

Hi,

I can't find my exemplars and that is nothing like the one I used to have - but I think it is fine if "abbreviated".

Eric

Thank you Eric.. I noticed here on LIVE.Auto .. a Ted Leong had posted some Cole sigs and they seem very similar to the one I posted.  I appreciate your opinion.

Hi MusicJim,

I found an old scan of mine! :) Please excuse the quality. I liked this one because of the house (the Cole's received many threats in 1948) and Cookie is in it. The "Violet" is Violet Zane - a well known collector who amassed, along with her husband Francis, some 250,000 or so signed items, playbills and signed/unsigned candids. I have several yet.

Eric

fantastic! thank you for sharing.. great pic/sig..

These are my Nat King Cole's if its any help. Mine were collected face-to-face with Nat King Cole and hand written by him at a show he did here in my home town of Birmingham UK in 1963. I do have some more that I've not collated yet plus I do have several Ted Heath autographs.

The one in red pen - despite being literally packed away for the past 50 years - is not looking so good now but the others might be good reference points for you. I've probably got another 6 or 7 that I can load up.
