I found a Negro League baseball this week and it is signed on the sweet spot.  I can't figure who this is or if this person was a player.  Last name looks like Wilson, but not sure of first name.  Any help out there.

Oddly enough, the only three Negro-leaguers that I can find with the last name "Wilson" are:

1) Arthur Lee Wilson ("Artie" Wilson).

2) George H. Wilson

3) Ernest Judson Wilson ("Jud" Wilson)

none of which have a "W" as an initial or start of a first name!

Puzzling.

Ya, I ran into a dead end also, unless it's not Wilson, but it sure looks like it.

The ball is post-integration (1956-62 ref below) and it looks like Wyman Wilson to me. I can't find any information on players from that era.
