Just wondering if anyone has checked out the revamped (as of today) rrauction.com site. It appears that you are no longer able to view past auctions? Entering a name into the search only seems to bring up any present auctions. Am I missing something here? Thanks!

Thanks for posting this... I tried navigating through the site with much trouble yesterday, specifically find the past auctions... I'll have to try again with the added tips. It's always frustrating to learn the new tricks of an updated site.

Guys....I just felt I have to share this....I live in the UK, and I've just received a phone call from Bobby Livingston from RRAuction...needless to say I was shocked couldn't believe it....used to think us Brits where the best in regard to customer service, well...its seems its gone over the pond these days...credence to them, this gentleman has been totally transparent and honest to me, and admitted the site has issues at present, but, most will be rectified by next month..i.e the magnifying glass software to name one, I wish to make it clear, that in no way did l wish to offend any of the guys at RR as I have always been treated first class on all my transactions...a big thank you to Bobby for updating me....my respect to you Bobby and the organisation has grown immensely.

Hi Mark ,I also got a phone call from Bobby Livingston a little while ago.He was very honest with the issues about the website.he said it had to be done, the old one that we all were very used to was just not cutting it anymore. He said that in time, all the little issues will be addressed and like all websites that just come online, there are little things that need to be tweaked.I agreed with him .i just launched a new website last month myself to take place of my old website.like Rr's site.... mine also has a few issues.
Anyway,he is a standup guy and so is the auction house. The fact that he personally called us means a lot.
By the way the first thing I called him was a stalker for calling me after reading this thread.we had a good laugh....

It's a nice gesture on Mr. Livingston's part but why not just post his thoughts and observations here??

I'm betting there are many former, current and potentially future RR customers here no??

IMO. And note imo....

in the past, from what I have seen, on this site, regarding explaining themselves, they have been slaughtered so just maybe they are explaining themselves to the clients who at THIS point have been vocal.....to me still a very nice gesture, nothing beats old fashion values...well to me that is.

I imagine they'll send an email out to all their customers early this week.

Thanks to Eric for the "Exclude Closed Lots" tip! However, I was only able to do this after trying on my desktop computer. On my iphone, either in landscape or handheld mode, I could not get this button to appear on a regular basis. Only once (after clicking somewhere on my screen that after I could not reproduce), was I able to get the "Exclude Closed Lots" button to appear, but even then, it would not work to bring up previous lots? Also, unless I'm missing something, the dates of the previous lots aren't appearing? Thanks!

He also told me that they are taking the past lot history down for a little while until they can fix it.he said that it is posting lots that never sold .that needs to be fixed.I agree with Mark .I think he got in touch with people who have won a lot of items with them. It's probably easier than to get on this thread himself.

I think they should leave up the lots that aren't sold...it's always nice to have as reference. Hopefully they're keeping an eye on this thread! ;)

They are pal. and to honest l think they appreciate the constructive feedback...bare with them bud

Bobby is Definitly keeping an eye on this thread. He definitely respects everyone's input. He wants feedback to make the site as user friendly as possible.

Good to know, and glad I started it then!

Then to recap, allow better accessibility with iPhones, allow access to all sold and unsold lots (including dates sold), plus, if possible, allow greater flexibility of the lot images...it's nice that they can be enlarged, but they don't seem to be in high resolution...if they were, then allowing a magnifying tool to really get in and look at the fine detail. I know this is just a wish list, but since you're looking at making the site better, these are the things I would appreciate as a user. Anyone else with suggestions?

Thanks again RRAuctions for a great site!
