Norman is kind of like Val Kilmer. He has one graph that he gives in the streets for free (this is one of those) and an autograph that he charges for at shows ....a bit nicer, you can tend to make out the N and the R at least.
Just like Val, Norman's in-person graph tends to be more of a checkmark, with no visible letters at all.
It's downright impossible to authenticate it, but I have seen dozens of these "in the street graphs" and this is what they look like.
In no way am I going to tell you not to buy from thefriendlystranger, their stuff always seems to be right on the money, but with Norman's autograph, you may choose to search out a graph from one of his appearances at a show. If you look to the future and hope that your Norman Reedus graph may hold any value at all, it is worth spending some extra now to have a sample that someone may be able to verify later.
A long time from now when Norman is no longer with us....there will be plenty of forgers drawing ugly checkmarks on photos and claiming it's a Reedus autograph.
Just my opinion, but I would make sure mine is a more standard recognized autograph.
Pete Chuka - you nailed it with regards to what Norman gives you on the streets vs when he is charging for his signature. The problem is with his popularity at an all time high - he is charging $80 at these events. And people are still lining up out the door. Including me next weekend.. lol.
