Oh wow, Elvis and Nirvana autographs found in storage shed... Yeah, right. shell_alexa

http://www.ebay.com/sch/shell_alexa/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_...=

I know these sellers are a dime a dozen these days... However, this seller's (shell_alexa) bogus explanation of the origin of these autographs is over-the-top. You can read it for yourself above. The seller stumbled upon a storage shed full of picture-perfect (assuming they were real) autographed items (mostly LPs) including Elvis, George Harrison, Nirvana, U2, etc. Of course, the owner of the storage shed is no longer alive, so nothing is known about where or how these "autographs" were obtained. The seller does say they received "mixed reviews" from collectors (which sounds like a "cover your ass" message).

I know sellers like this are everywhere, but it sickens me. I have reported this seller to Ebay, even though nothing will probably happen.

The truly sad part about these items, is that people are actually bidding on them. ALOT of people. Look at this stuff. I mean just wow

Don't be so cynical! I found an autographed photo of Jesus of Nazareth at a rummage sale.

This is too funny... OMG, this quote needs a t-shirt!!

But the seller will without a doubt get a boatload of money to spend on his/hers wedding. That´s real love for you, a romantic wedding financed by selling really bad forgeries...

I reported this seller too!

Every item is a terrible forgery and looking at their sold items they are churning out fake after fake

It really is crazy these are selling. I mean i see fakes like this all the time, but they rarely fetch amounts over 30 dollars. These are averaging about 100. This is insane. Great find Surfin.  Hopefully we can get this guy banned. I would love for him to come here and address these items.

Guys,

Please report these items. These are bad bad fakes and they are getting lots of bids. Knowing ebay, they probably wont pull them, so i am now posting pics of many of there items that they are currently offering. So that the buyers of them will eventually see this thread and realize they bought a fake, and hopefully go after this guy. And if even only one buyer finds this thread, then its worth all the saving and uploading. I will also be going through his past sold items shortly. These are just horrid, and people are loving them. Lets get these items taken down.  Check these ghastly pieces out. Look at the putrid Nirvana fake

Anyone that buys these is a moron i hate to say it but so many are so obviously fake that i don't know if i should laugh at this bad joke or throw up at seeing these items defaced

The "Jaksul" is done by someone who signs and sells on iOffer.

Top one below is the eBay users "Jaksul" and then below it the ones on iOffer.  I've been watching this person sell these for over a year - non-stop

iOffer:

Great catch Wascher. I imagine these 2 sellers are tied together somehow. "Jacksul", lol, i like that

I have a feeling that this person may be buying forgeries cheaply off of iOffer and flipping them to eBay.  That's just a guess though.

I would think there'd have to be some shill bidding going on for the bidding to reach anywhere near where it's at.
