Opinion on Cal Ripken Jr signature

All input is appreciated. The "C" looks off to me but I am in no way an expert. Just don't want to get scammed. Thanks in advance.

This looks atypical to me. I live in Maryland and we eat, sleep and breathe everything Cal Ripken and I have never seen a signature like that from him.
