I got this as a kid, around 1993. I have a few Jordan autos on cards, but this looks a little different than those. Opinions?

You got it yourself as in you got it in person? If so why do you need our opinions?
Or do you you mean you collected it in 93.

I personally don't like it
I don't like it either.
Sorry I should have been more specific. This was purchased for me as a kid. Not sure why I would ask for opinions if I got it in person. That wouldn't make sense. Thanks for the opinion though.
From one James to another, sorry, but I don't think it's real. Unfortunately, I think this was a pretty common forgery style back then. But as a different MJ would say, "You are not alone." I've picked up a few forgeries myself over the years. In fact, back when I was a total novice, the first autograph I ever bought was a Michael Jordan forgery from a store at the local mall.
Thanks James. It sucks but it's one of those times were you got something when you were young and although it's not authentic it's tied to my childhood. So it could be worse. I'm a lot more careful with my purchases nowadays and this site definitely has helped with that. You guys are all great.
Ya, since it's from your childhood, it's something you can still cherish. And of course, the person who bought it for you when you were a kid did so thinking they were getting the real thing. We were all a lot more innocent (except for the forgers) concerning autographs back in the day. Now, we know to be continually on the look out.
