Hi , I,m thinking of buying from these guy's, I just wanted to know what the overall expert opinion is of this seller :- http://www.outlaw-hobbies.com

And their blogsite:- http://www.outlawautographs.blogspot.ca

I get a good vibe from the stuff they have, just wanted to know what everyone else thinks.

I usually by habit only buy from UACC and AFTAL registered dealers with good providence but was thinking of buying from the site.

Many thanks

DVT.

i took a look and didn't see anything shocking based on there small inventory and there prices im pretty sure they are safe to buy from there hunger games items are authentic for sure

Not exactly an ideal name, is it?

I have looked at this seller also and considering purchase.  However, I found them through ebay, and it seems like a lot of people say NOT to buy through ebay. However, they seem honest and I have been in dialogue with them. I agree with Richard that the name is not the most ideal name. However, I had been more suspicious had the name been something like Definitely Real Autographs :). I know they offer a COA from West Coast Ice Scripts. Does that ring a bell to anyone?

Yeah West Coast Ice scripts is what they used to be called when they just traded in Ice Hocky Autographs.  More info http://outlawautographs.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/why-were-called-outl...

I feel comfortable buying from them, Dont mind paying a little extra for the confidence so I placed my order.

I had a bad experience with Outlaw Hobbies on ebay. I purchased an item for them that cost me $60 the photo turned out to be quite blurry it was not visible in on the picture in their listing nor was it detailed in the item description. Given the quality of the item and the fact that it was signed by an actor that is not well known it was far overpriced in my opinion. The COA from they provided had ink smeared all over it and was illegible.

I emailed Outlaw Hobbies very politely telling them I felt the quality of the item dot not match the price and asking would it be possible to return the item at my own expense for a refund or would they be able to provide my a partial refund. I also mentioned that the COA was damaged. I waited a few days and did not receive a response.

I left feedback for the seller and to be honest I was more generous with my comment than most buyers would be I didn't even tick the negative or neutral boxes and I noted positive as well as negative.

I then received a rather nasty comment on my feedback page from the seller and an email asking me what did I know about autographs, telling me that COA's are worthless and that his price was reasonable as the actor was difficult to obtain and that I was a liar in that I had never emailed them. He also looked at me feed back rating (perfect 100%) and told me I had purchased a few fakes from other sellers so to highlight his opinion that I had no idea what I was talking about. They made a few other comments that I can't recall.

It is possible that my email got lost in cyberspace however there was no excuse for the seller's rudeness and nasty comments were not appropriate especially given that I had been so nice in my wording of my email. A good seller would try to contact the buyer and ask why the buyer was unhappy to try to improve their customer skills not email abuse at them.

For this reason I will never buy from Outlaw Hobbies again I don't care if their items are authentic or not.
