I’m always amazed with these fake autographs how the forger always seems to center the signature perfectly. Unless you are sitting down with McCartney and casually talking to him this would never happen. If you are meeting a Beatle they aren’t taking the time to do that.

Anytime you are attempting to purchase a Beatle autograph (which is an investment) a good rule of thumb is to buy from a place like Tracks UK, or authenticated by PSA, Beckett, JSA (although I’m not a fan). Auction Houses sell fakes, even a reputable one like Heritage has fakes all the time. Like I said this is an investment and will more than likely be over $1,000 for McCartney. I don’t trust anything under $500 for Ringo.
