Personalized Paul McCartney autographs - how much does it hurt the value?

Would you be turned off very much if Paul's autograph were written to someone? Or is that ok because well...it's PAUL MCCARTNEY! Just curious.

Also, is a signed 8x10 photo of Paul McCartney a lot better to have than a "cut" signature?

It does affect the value a little but personally I would love a signature dedicated to me. It also depends on the name. For example it's easier to sell one signed to say David or Claire than it is if it is signed to Pebbles or Bam Bam

Yes, but the offspring of Fred and Barney are like royalty.
Do you think a signed photo with personalization is better than a cut signature without personalization?

imo makes no difference these days, the more writing the better, for me.

That's kind of how I feel.

It might make some difference, but it depends on the circumstances, how much a dedicated signature would sell for.

I prefer dedicated. I have a number of signed items from Paul which he dedicated to me with inscriptions! The best item to have with a Paul signature is one of his doodles!
Love the doodles!

If I met Paul I wouldn't mind a personalized. There was a thread of a Pauls signature personalized that Buddy hollys nephew obtained. The signature was sloppy and I bet it hasn't sold for 800 dollars. So yes it brings down the value on his modern signature but if it were a personalized beatles item from the 60s it wouldn't hurt the value.

it ended up selling for $698.50 - ended up being lower then my offer he turned down lol

A doodle definitely adds value
