Wondering about the value of personalized photos versus the value of just autographed photos. I have numerous photos, mostly press/publicity photos that my late brother had acquired thru his job - a music writer for numerous newspapers and his own website. I have a stack for maybe 35 not personalized and a stack of maybe 50 personalized. Wondering what you folks think the difference in value would be, as I plan on selling all, individually ? I would think they would be of more value without being personalized, but would there be a large difference you think ?

I seem to recall that Barry Halper amassed a huge collection of items that happened to be inscribed to a ”Barry,” include a Babe Ruth ball signed “To my Pal, Barry.”
These are my three of my favorite items in my collection. They are sentimental value to me, and while it won't be everyones cup of tea to have their name or someone elses name on an item...To me the more writing adds to the value and the story. While only one of these was actually meant for "me"...I realize I may never get the chance to meet some of these icons that I admire. So to own an item signed and dedicated to my name is the next best thing imo.
To Adam signed Brian Wilson (inside book)
All The Best To Adam signed by Paul McCartney on a piece of paper
To Adam by Nick Mason and also signed by Roger Waters on a vintage Arnold Layne sheet music.
To me, these are invaluable as a huge fan of their music. Simply more so to find items with my name on it.
