Unfortunately not real, IMHO.

The overall presentation looks slowly drawn and letters throughout are off.

I agree with you, Etienne. I also think this one is odd. I found another one on ebay which I think is genuine and I ask for your opinion.

That certainly looks to be in his style.  It's a shame that the letter has been cut up.  Perhaps someone did it at one point to matte the signature.

There are folks on here who certainly know better than I, though.  Hopefully they will weigh in.

Here's a good one for comparison:

I just found out the first one I post is authenticated by JSA. I just can't believe that. The autograph looks so bad. That makes less trust in JSA again. I also found one which is authenticatied by Beckett but I think is a little bit strange. Etienne, may I ask you for another opinion? Thanks.

This may be ok.  Attaching a signature on a pre-presidential TLS that looks close to this somewhat.  I'm not sure, though.  Again, others who specialize in Presidents or FDR may know more.

How did you find out the first one is authenticated by JSA?  I'm surprised it is authenticated by them.  Have you seen the actual cert. or letter?

I know this seller. He usually hide the cert # unless you purchase the item.

That's an odd thing to do.  I suppose the reasoning must be that someone could make a copy of the original JSA letter from the scan provided.

If I've been looking seriously at something that has been certified, I usually note the number on the letter and then look it up on the actual database.  Can't do that here.

I am sure the item is really certificated by JSA. I found I once bought an autograph from this seller and he has 100% positive comments. But just as I said before, this TPAs always make mistakes and the autograph is really bad.
