Print vs Handwritten Letters for Autograph Requests TTM?

I've been thinking about jumping back into TTM request for a while now but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Collecting TTM was a huge part of my life during the 90s and early 00s and I probably only written a handful of requests since. So im starting to do research again to see how much has changed. Ran into this video wihich really depressed me. I don't think I'm THAT old at 44 where people would assume I'm odd for writing all my requests in cursive still. Now I'm wondering if celebrities in their 20s would even be able to read it anyways?

For those currently sending out requests, how are you constructing your LORs? (Letter of requests) hand writing in cursive, regular print? Or just typing and printing from a computer?

Here's the video im referring to. Has it really gotten this bad? Or is this video scripted garbage for entertainment?

I don't do it that much - just a few via venue requests here and there. I always hand write mine, as I don't feel great about a typed letter/form letter. But plenty of TTM collectors do use typed formats and have plenty of success with them. Handwritten might given you the edge (seems a bit more personal?), but frankly the success rate on via venue requests is so bad that I suspect that edge isn't much if anything. I always print. I mostly ditched cursive somewhere around junior high.

I always type mine. Never a form letter, I only write to people whose work I admire, and I always include any personal connection that makes me a fan.  I’ve done very well with my requests.

Thanks for the responses. I definitely need an excuse to continue to handwrite. If I can get back into TTM. maybe ill handwrite letters for anyone older than 30 and print or type for the younger generation. With my previous history of TTM collecting, printing a letter from a computer would almost feel like cheating
