I recently stumbled on their site and picked up a few custom jerseys. I wish I would have found this site first. They are crap jerseys made in phillipines. Are they legal to use a clubs name or do they need to be licensed with MLB and NFL?

Counterfeit jerseys are considered "custom" to Pristine Auctions. Nothing custom about them.

I have sent a nessage to MLB in regards to the Custom Mets Jersey to find out if they have to be licensed because they are a piece od Sh t

On any online auction, if you see the word "custom" describing a jersey, you are going to get an inexpensive knockoff. Even though the signature may be authentic.

Yep and in many cases the autograph is just as custom as the jersey.

My question is when you advertise an item using the teams name and it's a knock off is there any laws broken such as licensing etc?. I have contacted bot the NFL and MLB to see if laws are being broken in regard to this. Any thoughts???

simple answer is yes its like selling a knock off guccie or lv .

they have lawyers on staff that deal with this type of stuff.

u can buy license for products also from mlb or nba or nfl
