This great letter is on ebay for $5000. I can't believe it. Real Queen autographs are becoming imposible to buy!

It's not because it's on ebay for 5000 that is has always the value of 5000. I see things on ebay for sale for many years with a value of maybe 1/3 of the asking price (not saying that this is the case here, but this will never sell for 5000). Or sellers don't need the money, or they have no clue about a real value.
Loads of genuine items are on ebay right now for bloated prices and that's why many of them have been on offer for months and months. Truth is, most of those sellers know damn well they won't move the pieces at those prices, and buckle for lower price offers when the items have been on offer for long enough.
Did you see the queen works signed program on ebay? Number 121765195558
I hadn't seen that one yet, Paul. It is lovely. And not too bad on price. If I were the seller, I'd ask about 1,200 usd for it but 1,500 isn't too far off. Not outrageously overpriced.
If someone is interested in the Works program, I can really recommend the seller! I bought my vintage 1974 full set:

from him and the transaction were topclass from start to finish!
In fact, the seller bought two Works programs both for about 1,000 usd last month and now he's selling them for 1,500 each... There are people who buy cheap just to sell it more expensive on ebay. Lately this is happening with Queen memorabilia.
That's the way it works. Lol. How else do you expect people to make any money off of anything? Nobody is going to buy something for 1k and sell it for 1k unless they just need to money. There's nothing wrong with that. The price isn't outrageous. If it were anymore than that, I'd say it was way too much. But for that price, it's still relatively fair.
