Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site.  I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.

Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale.  In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake.  The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.

He might not know there is a problem.

No all the MJ's were pulled from the market place

Let me advise the forum that a UK Collector / buyer complained to me over the weekend that there are questionable Paul MCCartneys for sale on certain UK dealers web sites

Now these differ to MCCartneys I have collected in person, but im not stating anything on the forum about them personally

Gary, There is a thread here on AML somewhere about those mate

Mick is this the old thread ?

I have been told these are diffrent items for sale

same angle of signature etc

No Im sure it wasnt the old thread. Ive searched for it but cant find it. Maybe Steve Crykin will know wher it is

Mick, Gary...

Here's the McCartney discussion:

Thanks Steve

yes i had seen this thread on the forum, Im unsure what to say, other than the items for sale on the UK web sites are very much alike the examples shown on this thread.

The signatures are the same and the angle of the signatures on the items are the same too.

If I was offered them I would pass on purchasing.

I recently obtained a McCartney in person, im thinking of showing it on here, let me pull it for scanning, you can see he diffrences that have been mentioned

must be they are hiding behind their scales of justice legal brief.

Im sorry but I just couldnt believe it when I heard about this.

The 2nd one down on AFTAL's hall of shame!!!

http://www.aftal.org.uk/wall_of_shame.php

Mick,  for some that might not be making a connection can you elaborate?

I think the next one down is something especially the 1st part of the infraction;

Offence. Selling non authentic Michael Jackson items, and claiming to be a UACC and AFTAL Registered Dealer

Sorry DB. The irony was they have black listed someone on their hall of shame for selling "non authentic" Michael Jackson items.

One rule for AFTAL and another rule for AFTAL ?????

Can I ask,

Did anyone on this Forum review the 'Film / Video Proof' of all the Signed  Jacksons that were raised via this post ?

The Video proof was to be shown at Autografica

Its all gone quiet, and I assume someone knows the outcome ?

Are we to beleive the Jacksons now to be genuine as of the proof was to show

Thanks
