Here's an example of one of the items I am considering: Jeff Beck album cover. R&R cert.

This was part of a Lot?
"All lots sold by RR Auction are accompanied by an Auction Certificate (“AC”). On any lot presented with an AC issued by RR Auction, the certification is only as to its attribution to the person or entity described or to the lot’s usage and only as explicitly stated therein (the “AC”), to the exclusion of any other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to those pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code. The AC inures only to the original Bidder (as shown in RR Auction’s records). Bidder may not transfer, assign, or otherwise convey the AC and such purported transfer, assignment, or conveyance shall be null and void."
That could be 20 years ago or more. Catalog #372 was in 2011. This is catalog #195! This cert is so old as to be worthless IMO. There is no way to verify if this cert even goes with that LP. The terms are telling you the Auction Cert is non-transferrable (like any are)...
I didn't realize it was that old, but the whole thing sounds fishy to me. I think the prudent thing would be to stay away. Thanks again for helping.
Good bet and you are very welcome.
