On first glance, that looks good to me.
I have done a little more digging and the name Ferguson likely refers to Gene Ferguson who was a Columbia Record promoter and close friend of Cash in Nashville I am thinking he signed them as promos with Cash to present to radio stations. Ferguson was working for Columbia in 1958 when this record was released and Cash lived with him off and on for years.
Great set. Early signatures are so sweet, and Cash wasn't ever shy about signing. Your homework has really paid off. Excellent work and wonderful signatures.
BTW, where's the third one? I only saw two.
Thanks for your comments. The 45 is signed on both sides and a third signature is on the dust jacket. I am a big fan of the early Sun era. Who isn't?? I came across this lot and had to do a double take. Its a fun hobby!
