Secretarial signature imo

Thank you very much! This is great help.

It was given to me somewhere around 1989 by Dwayne Ratliff, a broadway dancer in the 50s and friend of my parents (he was an understudy for Fred Astaire and Donald O’Connor. Danced in musicals/films, as well as in the Sahara Hotel in Vegas.)

I wished I could ask him today how he exactly optained the autograph, but he is deceased.

All I remember vaguely, was that he told me about some sort of get-together in memory of (I think) Bing Crosby in around 1988. There, he spoke with Michael Jackson who was there too. And so he asked him if he could arrange for an autograph, for me.

Back then I was a child and thought this was the true story. But today I’m thinking, although Dwayne was the kindest most sincere person, It is theoretically possible that he only made the story up, knowing how much of a M.J. fan I was. To impress me & cheer me up.

...Or that he did in fact meet M.J., and that M.J. indeed arranged for that autograph, but not in the sense of signing it himself...

Out of curiosity, which parts of the lettering make you think it is secretarian?

All of it ;)   The entire signature is different than how MJ signed.
